The sales comprised 325 tonnes of Giza 88 and 503 tonnes of Giza 86, an official from Alcotexa told Reuters.
The new commitment brings Alcotexa's export commitments for the 2008/2009 season, which began in September, to 23,900 tonnes of cotton worth $60.7 million, the official said.
