The retailer will set up shop at Nieuwendijk 200, which is strategically located in the city center of the Dutch capital, reports Dutch real estate website Vastgoedmarkt. Neighboring retailers include Zara, Primark, The Body Shop, JD Sports and Only.

Moreover, the store will be close to many attractions such as Dam square, which is also home to department store de Bijenkorf and connects Nieuwendijk to the Netherlands’ most popular shopping destination, Kalverstraat.

Calzedonia offers collections for women, men and children. The women’s range includes tights and stockings, leggings, socks, swimwear and beachwear. Men’s collections consist of swimwear and socks. And for children, including newborns, the retailer offers socks, tights and swimwear.

Calzedonia is part of the Verona-based Calzedonia Group that also owns Intimissimi, Tezenis Underwear, Falconeri Knitwear and Atelier Emé. Sandro Veronesi, who is still the company’s CEO, founded the group in 1987. Today, the Calzedonia group operates more than 2,000 stores around the world and employs 32,000 people.
