The partnership is a first for P Johnson suiting, debuting a the ready-to-wear collection and launching online globally.

The Sydney-based bespoke outfit was picked up the men's luxury e-commerce giant for its contemporary cuts and quality summery fabrics, with Johnson working on the 19-piece collection with Mr Porter's buying manager Sam Kershaw and buying director Fiona Firth.

"P Johnson combines traditional Italian craftsmanship with Australian irreverence," said Mr Porter, when describing the label to shoppers online. "Each piece of tailoring is made by hand with an emphasis on lightness and simplicity."

The menswear edit taps into tailored evening and resortwear and features two summer blazers, cotton shirting, and drawstring trousers and shorts for summer, with a lightweight merino sweater and cardigan for when temperatures drops. Other classic pieces include a striped granddad collar shirt and double-breasted two-piece suit in a navy 'tropical' wool blend.
