Eggle joined Olymp Benzer KG in the summer of 1984, and will be responsible for finance, accounting, external management, human resources, IT, legal affairs, internal services and logistic. The 55-year-old sits on the board of the Olymp Benzer Foundation and the Textile and Clothing Industry Association for Southwest Germany.

Dirk Heper is a sales expert who returns to the company after 15 years. He worked in sales management at Olymp, overseeing the Olymp and Marvelis brands, between 1999 and 2002. He has most recently served as sales manager at Ahlers AF in Herford.

His appointment as general manager was announced on 1 October. The 49-year-old executive will oversee all components of the company’s sales as well as operations liked to its corporate fashion and private label. He will be also responsible for design, product management and visual merchandising.

Bezner said: “We need a forward-looking management structure in order to make the most of the opportunities on offer to continue steadily developing our business,” said Mark Bezner on the reshuffle of the family-owned business.
The company has seen a tenfold increase in turnover from 22.1 million euros to 250.4 million since 1995, with the number of employees rising six times from 134 to more than 800 in 2017.
