To celebrate the success of its perfume 1 Million on the one year anniversary of its launch, Paco Rabanne has created a luxury case for the perfume where the bottle, usually in the shape of a gold ingot, is actually made of the precious metal.

For this extremely limited, 9kg edition which will be sold on demand, Paco Rabanne has called on jeweler and goldsmith M. Mathon, the designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance and Fred Pinel to create a case for the gold container which is no less luxurious. Called “1 Million 18 Carats”, the perfume’s birthday, celebrated with great pomp, should enchant the better off of the fragrance’s followers.

A massive perfume bottle plated in 18-carat gold signed by Paco Rabanne and dominated by a 0.3 carat diamond, a case upholstered in fine calfskin with black shagreen inside, equipped with three secret drawers for refills, its own interior light run from a battery protected in a leather case and a golden lock with which to keep the case closed… it is easy to see why it will cost a minimum of €40,000 to take home this limited edition piece.
