French womenswear label Un Jour Ailleurs has unveiled its first internationally renowned brand ambassador. The ladies' fashion brand went through a difficult phase in 2014, but has now picked Hollywood star Julianne Moore to embody its Autumn/Winter 2017-18 advertising campaign.

Julianne Moore, 56, has been the face of L’Oréal Paris for several years, and was recently chosen as brand ambassador by lingerie label Triumph. For Un Jour Ailleurs, Julianne Moore was portrayed by photographer Jan Welters, in a photoshoot set in New York. The campaign will not feature videos but will be published in the press, on the web and on social media from the end of August.

Julianne Moore, Academy Award winner in 2014 for her role in 'Still Alice', embodies "French chic" for Un Jour Ailleurs, the sort of style the label is proud of, especially since its brand repositioning in 2014. At the time, Un Jour Ailleurs activated a protection procedure – akin to receivership - a crisis the label eventually pulled through, after overhauling its store concept and adopting a new brand identity, UJA Paris, emblematic of its desire to modernise. UJA Paris was founded in 1984 and currently operates some 160 directly owned stores.
