Vanessa Seward conquers Paris, London next

Vanessa Seward is laying a solid foundation for global expansion. Backed by A.P.C and its founder, Jean Touitou, the young designer and ex-creative director of Azzaro, is rolling out her retail strategy with force.

In just one year, Seward has opened four stores, of which the last opened in Paris' famous Saint-Germain-des-Prés. The brand will also bow its very first London store in January, bringing the store count to five.

Since 2014, the Paris-based, Argentina-born Seward has signed her collections under her very own name and conscientiously rolled out a honed-in business plan.

While media coverage has helped create buzz around the brand, most notably after her runway show in September, the brand has fastened its grip on the fashion worked via retail and the resulting increased visibility.

After opening a store in the French capital's city centre and then in the Marais, before bowing a boutique in Los Angeles, the seventies-inspired ready-to-wear luxury womenswear brand opened its fourth boutique in September, on Paris' 'left bank', at 171 du boulevard Saint-Germain.

Adopting a very similar design concept to Laurent Deroo (the architect used by A.P.C. for its stores), the third Parisian address, with its blue shopfront, hides a cozy new space for private fittings.

In addition, thanks to the backing and financial support from A.P.C., the Vanessa Seward brand has its eyes set on England. The designer is slated to conquer the UK with her first namesake store in London, for January 2017.

Seward also continues to open in certain boutique corners of A.P.C stores globally. She will also open in department store, Printemps Haussmann, this autumn.
