Bain Couture designer Adriana Degreas opened on Tuesday her fifth retail location at the Village of Merrick Park at Coral Gables in South Miami. The new store marks as the brand's first US location.
The Brazilian fashion designer tapped interior designer Juan Camacho to design the 5,800-square-foot store. Camacho, who has worked with luxury retailer The Webster on its Miami store, created a design that combined the spirit of Palm Beach and Miami’s golden age with Adriana’s signature exotic prints.
The new store features tropical tapestry wallpapers and flamingos, plush velvet textured, bronze finished art deco furniture, green foliage, and vintage roses.
“We want our customers to feel inspired in a place that allows them to experience the lifestyle of the brand,” said Degreas.
The Bain Couture designer and graduate from the Industrial Design from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado (FAAP) founded her namesake label in 2001 after growing dissatisfied with the beachwear market. The label has been described as “destinationwear” for its sophisticated bikinis, dress and robes that sport unique prints.
The Adriana Degreas collection is available in over 20 countries and at 45 renowned retailers and e-commerce sites including Harrods, L’Eclaireur, Luisa Via Roma, Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion, Avenue 32 and Revolve, and the brand operates four stores in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
To celebrate the opening of the Miami store, Adriana produced a limited edition collection exclusively for the new retail location that is comprised of summer accessories such as bags, hats and glasses.
