The Italian beauty spot, where the fashion house's story began over 60 years ago, will welcome the new store on its famous shopping street Via Camerelle. The label's founder Marchese Emilio Pucci himself used to stroll down the cobblestoned street with his crew of glamorous, jet-setting women.

The store will carry a "tightly edited" selection of Pucci's product categories, including ready-to-wear to accessories designed by its Creative Director, Massimo Giorgetti. The boutique will also feature an exclusive summer beachwear and accessories capsule collection inspired by the island, including bags, pouches, swimsuits, T-shirts, kaftans, pareos and beach towels. Garments and accessories are embellished with the 1954 archive print "Piazzetta di Capri," featuring a stylized hand-drawn scene of the island's famous piazza.

The shop space will honor the brand's heritage, with floor-to-ceiling, black and white vintage photography taken from the Pucci archives in Florence covering the walls. The images show women wearing the brand's first resort-inspired collections while on summer holiday in Capri. Lacquered metal racks, glass and a pink coral carpet add to the glamorous resort vibe of the space.

Emilio Pucci opened up his very first boutique, La Canzone del Mare, in Capri's Marina Piccola in 1951. For 30 years the shop remained an iconic destination for jet-setting fashionistas, while Pucci began to make its mark on the industry during the beginning of Italy's post-war fashion boom.
