Designer Ingrid Monti led the production of accessories for Chloé and See by Chloé before launching her own label, Sainte Isaure, named after her grandmother.

The first four items from the Parisian label - Sainte Isaure

Fascinated and inspired by the world of classical dance, Ingrid Monti drew took cues from ballet, theatre interiors and stage performance in creating her designs.

It was thus a natural progression for the designer to turn to gold for the adornment of her line. Her first collection consists of just a one clutch model, the label’s signature item, christened ‘René’ and available in four types of leather (deer, python, ostrich and goat). All are in gold, as are the chain straps. The clutches sport a powder pink leather lining, a nod to the influence of the ballet shoe.

In addition to her seasonal collections, Monti is releasing capsule collections that include accessories, brightly coloured jewellery and her signature bag in other colours such as blue, to cater to different customer tastes.

The leathers are first sourced in Italy and then produced in southern Spain through artisanal craftsmanship. The products range in price from about 430 euros to over 1500 euros for the ostrich leather model in the Parisian label's e-shop and at its stores in Paris and Belgium.
