Geox: an event and a book dedicated to kids

On 22nd November Geox hosted an event to celebrate the book 'Gerald's Missing Shoe' at its 530 Oxford Street store in London, as part of the 'Let Your Imagination Breathe' series. American author and illustrator Dallas Clayton read from the book, and Gerald and the characters in his fantasy world escorted children through a unique, fun experience, lead by their imagination.

The book series is designed to stimulate children's creativity, relying on the footwear brand's long-established values, which link the wonderful world of Geox's junior collections with the world of childhood.

The books are available in paper and digital form, offering two different experiences: a classic reading experience, or an interactive one, thanks to the possibility of downloading the Apple or Android app for free. The date for the second story, 'Eleanor's New Shoes' is set for February 2016.

The book's paper version will be given away for free with every purchase of Baby line shoes at Geox's mono-brand stores in Italy and elsewhere in Europe, in Canada, and the USA (while stocks will last).

Dallas Clayton is a much-appreciated American author, illustrator, public speaker, mural painter and adventure-seeker. He started his career in children's publishing with the Awesome Books series, enjoying great success and being labelled as the 'new Dr Seuss'. His works have been translated in over 20 languages.
