Italian fashion and homeware retailer MaxFactory has opened a new store in Trecate, in the province of Novara in northern Italy, taking over premises extending over approximately 5,000 m2, formerly occupied by furniture megastore Mercatone Uno.

“Opening a store a few miles from Novara and other important cities in Piedmont and Lombardy is consistent with the strategic plan we have been executing in the last few years. We are proud to contribute with our work to the economic relaunch of the Trecate area, creating more jobs, and to offer a quality range at the right price to our customers within a pleasant, welcoming and modern environment,” said Stefano Giorgetti, managing director of the MaxFactory group.

“The opening of the new MaxFactory store is a great opportunity for the local economy,” said Federico Binatti, mayor of Trecate and president of the Novara provincial authority. “I would like to thank the group’s senior management for believing in our town’s potential and contributing to creating more local jobs,” he added.

The new store features an extensive choice of apparel, household goods, home furnishings and furniture, all by leading brands, mostly from Italy. It reflects the retail and interiors concepts devised by MaxFactory in 2019, and adopted by all its stores.

The MaxFactory group is present in the Italian regions of Lombardy, Piedmont, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio and Veneto with over 30 stores, each with an average area of 3,000 m2, and plans to operate 50 stores by 2025.
