Long-established Italian sport and lifestyle apparel label Colmar, founded by Mario Colombo in Monza in 1923, is expanding its monobrand retail network. After recently opening two new stores, in London and in the Austrian ski resort of Kitzbühel, Colmar has increased its worldwide monobrand retail footprint to 15 stores.

Colmar’s 90-square-metre London store is located between Piccadilly Circus and Regent Street. The store in the renowned Austrian mountain resort, home to the Ski World Cup’s most iconic downhill race, extends over 100 square metres.

Both stores deploy for the first time the Italian label’s new retail interiors concept, called ‘Apex’, featuring style, high-tech and innovation, and designed by London studio Method.

Colmar is also available at about 1,300 multibrand retailers in Italy and 1,700 retailers outside the country. In 2017, it generated a revenue of €108 million, 65% of which was produced on the domestic market. Colmar’s main export market is France, where the label operates five monobrand stores, in Annecy, Lille, Lyon, Megève and Chamonix.
