Menswear platform Mr Porter has announced the launch of a series of capsule collections from renowned Japanese designers, celebrating Japanese culture and style.

Mr Porter, which offers a range of men's fashion brands from Off-White to Saint Laurent and Jacquemus, is taking us on a journey through time with a series of capsule collections focusing on the theme of Japan, via some of its most iconic designers.

Fifteen Japanese brands have created unique collections for the celebrated online platform's "The Japan Edit," each presenting their personal vision of Japanese menswear.

"The Japan Edit" will feature 122 pieces from brands like Ambush, Needles, Remi Relief, Human Made, Auralee, Blue Blue Japan, Kapital, Flagstuff, Hender Scheme, Beam Plus, and Blackmeans, among others.

Each of the guest labels offers an essential from its wardrobe, including a trench coat with a buttoned belt by Auralee, a studded jacket by Blackmeans, a printed Cuban collar shirt from Flagstuff, a t-shirt decorated with ramen noodle motifs by Human Made, and a patchwork jean jacket by Kapital.

"After the success of the 'Made in California' and 'Vive la France' capsule collections, we wanted to pay homage to another major center for men's fashion: Japan. Japan is a country we regularly travel to and to where we often turn to discover new trends. Bringing together these iconic designers in a single capsule collection is an opportunity to promote these superb talents to our international customers", explained Daniel Todd, buyer at Mr Porter.

"The Japan Edit" is available from the Mr Porter e-shop.
