As it continues to reshape itself, Lanvin has unveiled a new campaign, shot by Stepen Meisel and called Lanvin Character Studies.
Returning “elegance and sophistication to the everyday, [and] channelling what Jeanne Lanvin called ‘le chic ultime’,” the company said the new campaign “reveals the characteristics of a newly imagined Lanvin woman: cultured, curious, discreet, self-possessed and secure in just her own skin”.
It includes “intimate portraits” of six women — Raquel Zimmerman, Electra 3000, Wali Deutsch, Lex Peckham, Alay Deng and Lian Koster.
The campaign “signals a confident new visual identity”, developed for the house by M/M Paris.
This first “image campaign” presents a “fresh set of brand values in a 'reframing', connecting the heritage of France’s oldest fashion house with the reality of today”.
There’ll be more next year with the first half of 2023 also seeing the launch of a newly designed website and a new boutique concept.
It all comes as the brand sees rising sales. Last month the Lanvin Group said revenues rose 73% to €202 million in the first half of the year and the flagship Lanvin brand saw 117% global sales growth, with wholesale up 260%.
