Luxury fashion brand Maiyet announced Monday the executive appointments of Declan Kearney as Creative Director and Amy Todd Middleton as Vice President of Marketing. The appointments will allow Kristy Caylor, Maiyet’s Co-Founder and President, to focus on the company’s collaborations, expansion in all categories and channels, and its venture into e-commerce.

"We are thrilled to welcome Declan and Amy to Maiyet where they will play instrumental roles as we advance to our next stage of growth," said Paul van Zyl, Founder & CEO of Maiyet. "The addition of their creativity and experience will further Maiyet's ethos of artisanal luxury in showcasing the world's greatest craftsman in our design-driven collections, and will enable Kristy to focus on key areas of growth for the company."

Kearney, whose appointment was announced by the American press and later confirmed in the company’s press release, will be responsible for all creative aspects of the brand, including ready-to-wear, accessories and brand imagery starting with Resort 2016. He previously served as Design Director at Alexander Wang and then at Jason Wu, and consulted on designs for Roberto Cavalli. He started his career at Halston before he held critical design roles at companies like Calvin Klein and Phi.

Middleton will lead the international marketing operations with the aim of expanding the company’s brand awareness and strategic partnerships. She most recently served as the Global Director of Strategic Marketing at Sotheby’s, where she led a team of 70 professionals who contributed towards annual sales of over $6 billion, and was responsible for developing the Sotheby’s Preferred client loyalty program for VIPs.

Maiyet debuted exclusively at Barneys in 2012 and in 32 locations including its flagship store on Crosby St. in New York City’s SoHo neighborhood, at Neiman Marcus and at Net-A-Porter, and will soon be sold at Bergdorf Goodman
