Natali Ratabasi is a Central Saint Martins alumni who commenced her career under John Galliano's leadership at Christian Dior, and then went onto designer roles at Oscar de la Renta, Valentino and Gucci - before joining Ralph Lauren as senior artistic director and then heading up Alberta Feretti's Philosophy line. She has now taken a new step in her career.

Just weeks after launching her own label in Los Angeles, a collection of trend-lead streetwear for women called 'Tre' (available in Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Net-a-Porter), the English-Italian designer has just been named Senior VIP of Design for Current/Eliott, the denim brand belonging to The Collected Group (which also owns Joie and Equipment).

Alongside Sarah Rutson, the brand's creative director, the designer will lead both men's and women's lines, her collections slated for the autumn 2018 season. "It's an exciting challenge for me," admitted the designer. "And it's an opportunity to take the the brand in a more modern direction, while still respecting its heritage."

Founded in 2008, the Current/Eliott brand was created as a tribute to vintage denim and its American roots, and has been promoting a timeless style for ten years.
