Nike this week is bringing back its Sneakeasy concept for Thanksgiving Weekend. The activewear giant announced on Friday a partnership with Foot Locker to open the Sneakeasy concept at 30 Wall Street in New York City.
Sneakeasy, which is a play on the word ‘speakeasy,’ launched earlier this year in celebration of Air Max Day in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago and Toronto. The new Sneakeasy location opening on Wednesday, November 22, will offer five sneaker styles through December 1, beginning with the Special Field Air Force 1 Mid “OBJ,” as well as limited edition t-shirts that are inspired by the sneakers that will be available during the week.
In addition, Foot Locker is hiring full-time Nike experts to drive elevated customer experiences at its stores.
"At Foot Locker, we are proud to have associates who are so deeply knowledgeable and passionate about all the great premium products we have to offer," said Tony Aversa, Vice President of Customer Experience and Sales for Foot Locker North America. "These new Nike Pro Athlete and Lead positions will allow for even more in-depth consumer connections for both Foot Locker and Nike."
The Nike Special Field Air Force 1 Mid “OBJ” is open for reservation now on the Foot Locker app.
