Puma has used the departure of Volfango Bondi, in charge of Central and Western Europe, as an opportunity to get rid of the position as such. The kit supplier has promoted Martyn Bowen to the new position of Managing Director EMEA.

The British executive was until now in charge of Eastern Europe, Africa and the Middle East as regional general manager. He will report directly to Björn Gulden, CEO of Puma. A former professional athlete, Martyn Bowen joined Puma in 1995 and has held several positions since, notably in Central Europe.

In 2014, the Kering-owned brand saw its sales increase at a constant exchange rate of 1.3% to 1.2 billion euros for the EMEA zone.
