The young manager's mission will be to draw up an aggressive expansion plan enabling the group to become a key player in the artistic perfumery sector, by developing the Serge Lutens brand on a global scale through the opening of new stores, the extension of its digital activities with a special focus on e-tail, and the consolidation of its fragrance and make-up businesses in the countries where the brand is already present.

After joining Shiseido in 2014 as National Key Account Manager, Garavelli has held to post of commercial & retail director of the Prestige division, later becoming the commercial & retail director of Shiseido Italy and eventually moving to Paris to take charge of the EMEA region.

In December 2015, after a 35-year collaboration, Shiseido and Serge Lutens signed an agreement which led to the fragrance brand's acquisition by the Japanese group, which plans to deploy an ambitious international expansion plan for Serge Lutens. The latter is an eclectic, multi-faceted brand and a pioneer of artistic perfumery, currently distributed via 2,000 retailers in over 35 countries.
