Stills Atelier bankrupt

Dutch ready-to-wear brand Stills Atelier has gone bankrupt, according to Dutch newspaper, Het Financiële Dagblad.



Stills Atelier has three stores, in Amsterdam, The Hague and Antwerp, and is available via more than 100 points of sale in Europe, Asia and the United States.

The brand offers quality pieces for women, designed at the in-house atelier in Amsterdam.



Stills Atelier was founded in 1993 and belonged to Velhoven Group (Sandwich, Turnover, DEPT and Olsen) until 2014, when the brand continued independently. Since 2010 the team has been led by head designer, Korrie Vulkers, and managing director, Martin Tramper, who did so until the labels’ bankruptcy.

According to, Het Financiële Dagblad, liquidator, Wies Janssen, announced that the Stills Atelier stores in Amsterdam, The Hague and Antwerp remain open for the coming weeks.
