Made in France Première Vision - DR

The Fashion Weeks

Men's Fashion Week

Men's fashion traditionally opens the fashion shows. International designers will present their autumn-winter 2023/24 collections in mid-January. The Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion's provisional calendar announces 48 shows (and 33 presentations), for a total of 81 registered brands. The most eagerly awaited shows include Saint Laurent (early evening on January 17), which is making a comeback as Anthony Vaccarello, the brand's creative director, has not shown his menswear in the fashion capital since 2016. This will be followed by Louis Vuitton and AMI (January 19), the Dior and Kenzo shows (January 20), and Maison Margiela (January 22) which will close this first fashion week dedicated to men.

Dates: Tuesday 17 to Sunday 22 January 2023

Haute couture week

The following week, the fashion houses will present their haute couture creations for the autumn-winter 2023/24 season. According to the provisional calendar released by the Federation of Haute Couture and Fashion (the organisation that coordinates the events), some 30 houses will be present, showcasing looks of excellent craftsmanship and exception. The Italian label Schiaparelli (January 23) will open this Fashion Week dedicated to haute couture, followed by Christian Dior in the early afternoon of the same day. Chanel and Alexis Mabille will show on January 24, then Jean Paul Gaultier (January 25), who will unveil the Haider Ackermann collection (the designer is the fourth to be invited to the Parisian house's haute couture studio). Hong Kong-born, London-based designer Robert Wun will close the week of haute couture.

Dates: Monday 23 to Thursday 26 January 2023

Women's Fashion Week

The last stage of the Fashion Week triptych: women's fashion. At the end of February and beginning of March, the labels will reveal their women's ready-to-wear collections for autumn-winter 2023/24. More information on the participating houses and the show schedule will be revealed shortly.

Dates: Monday 27 February to Tuesday 7 March 2023
