Vans appoints new global chief product and merchandising officer

Vans announced on Thursday the appointment of Marissa Pardini, vice president and general manager of The North Face Americas region, to the role of chief product and merchandising officer for global Vans.

Starting December 1, in this role, Pardini will continue to leverage her extensive background and expertise to further the brand’s current objective to be consumer-minded, retail-centric, and hyper-digital brand.

“I couldn’t be more thrilled to rejoin the Vans Family and lead the Global Product Strategy in partnership with the talented teams,” said Pardini. 

“People and culture have always made Vans stand apart. I am excited to return home and inspire those around me with a purposeful vision and focus on driving the business forward.”

Pardini joined Vans in 2010 and has since held various roles including vice president, DTC merchandising where she helped the brand reach and exceed more than a billion dollars in DTC sales across a large fleet of multiple store formats. 

Most recently, she served as vice president and general manager of The North Face Americas region since 2020, another VF Corporation-owned brand. 

Vans is sold in more than 100 countries through a network of subsidiaries, distributors and international offices. In particular, it has more than 2,000 retail locations globally including owned, concession  and partnership doors.
