After five months of hype, the tenth and final collaboration between Virgil Abloh and Nike, Inc. stemming from "The Ten" project is slated to launch in the form of a reinterpretation of the Converse Chuck 70 style.

Abloh's design uses transparent woven uppers and sports Off-White branding. Translucent tape with "Vulcanized" is printed on the sides, as well as the words "Right" and "Left" on the respective shoe toe caps.

Abloh's Chuck 70 also flips the branded license plate on the heel, and the sneakers come with three additional sets of laces featuring Abloh's signature "Shoelace" print.

In an official release about the Chuck 70, Nike-owned Converse described it as "a modern ode to the Chuck Taylor All Star, celebrating a time when the sneaker had evolved to become the pinnacle of function and utility for sport."

The brand calls the shoe both familiar and new, explaining, "After being redrafted by Converse in 2013, the Chuck 70 quickly became the designer's choice, with Rei Kawakubo, Missoni, Jonathan Anderson and Virgil Abloh collaborating on the icon."

The shoe is the tenth in a collaboration between Abloh's Off-White and Nike which began in November 2017. The previous nine styles sold out quickly after launch.

The Ten Converse x Virgil Abloh Chuck 70 will be available in sizes 4 through 13. It is priced at $130 and will initially sell exclusively on Converse and Off-White's websites.

Customers are encouraged to sign up for alerts for the specific launch details.
