Italian luxury accessories label Zanellato, renowned for the 'Postina' and 'Nina Zanellato' handbags, was founded in Vicenza in 2011 and is about to open its second mono-brand store. The label's first was inaugurated last spring at Via Bagutta 11, Milan, and Moscow will host the second one, a 70 m2 store whose opening is planned for early December, within the Crocus City shopping mall.

"Having taken a first step outside of Italy, which remains our main market, in 2018 we will turn towards Asia. Japan is in fact the number two country for our company, with a 25% [revenue] share, followed by South Korea. My objective is definitely to open a store in Tokyo," Franco Zanellato, the brand's founder and creative director, told FashionNetwork at the 'Decoded Fashion' forum organised by Pitti Immagine in Milan on 15th and 16th November.

The label also plans to enlarge the retail corner currently established inside the Rinascente department store in Milan. The company is performing well throughout Europe, and expects to close 2016 with a revenue of €11.5 million, up from €9 million recorded in 2015.
